Co-founder & CTO

As a co-founder & CTO, your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing all aspects of engineering, including technical strategy, technology roadmap, information security, best practices, and technology stacks.
• Managing end-to-end technological execution.
• Ensuring consistency in best practices, software development processes, quality assurance, information security, performance, and maintenance. Identifying risks and opportunities.
• Understanding how to leverage and integrate infrastructure and APIs from our partners.
• Delivering the MVP (prototype) to begin serving our initial clients.
• Becoming a member of the founding team.
• Recruiting your team.
• Managing your budget.


Skills and experiences:

• Prior experience in building complex products in regulated markets.
• Strong connections within the developer community and the ability to attract the right engineering team post-spin-off.
• Worked with a diverse set of technologies: Frontend – Javascript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular; Backend – Node or Python; Cloud Environment – AWS; including web, mobile, data, and infrastructure.
• Interest in data processing to create proprietary AI.
• Sectorial experience in insurance and/or healthcare systems.
• Proven ability to take ideas and turn them into reality.
• Thriving in uncertainty – preferably in an agency and/or startup environment.
• Familiarity with various multi-platform product development frameworks.
• Appetite for experimenting with new technologies and tools to stimulate innovation and creativity.
• Bonus for those with a passion and experience in creating B2B SaaS platforms and a good understanding of the UK market.
